Created by United Way of the Bay Area, SparkPoint provides low-income residents with financial coaching, career counseling and more at 13 family-friendly locations.
SparkPoint clients work one-on-one with a coach who supports them in identifying their goals, developing a step-by-step action plan and staying on track for success. Clients can also access professional development support, interview preparation, scholarship opportunities and much more. Our services focus on three key elements of financial success: managing credit, increasing income and building assets.
Since the first center launched in 2009, SparkPoint has served over 20,000 Bay Area residents. Last year, 80% of clients made progress with their financial goals.
